IV Cannulation Practice

This course provides the skills and knowledge to safely carry out peripheral intravenous cannulation, including opportunities to practice inserting the cannula in different simulated arms.

This course is is aimed at healthcare professionals who have limited or no previous experience of cannulation, looking to learn the cannulation skills necessary to administer conscious intravenous sedation.

1. You will be provided a handbook to read ahead of attending the course.
2. The course is between 13:30-14:30 on the scheduled day and includes assessment of theoretical knowledge and practice in simulated arms.
